Can AYDIN
Can Aydin is a Turkish sabre coach, and former international fencer, who has helped develop sabre fencing in his home country throughout his career. He brings more than 17 years of coaching experience in competitive fencing, from beginner to advanced level. His fencers have won nearly 400 medals in national and international competitions, including most notably at both the Cadet and U23 European Championships.
With a keen awareness of the importance of lifelong learning in coaching, Can’s coaching philosophy relies primarily on building strong athlete-coach relationships based on trust and mutual learning. His aim is to develop strong fundamental fencing tactics and techniques, and to equip fencers with the necessary physical and mental skills for the highest level of international competition.
