Supported Competitions

Project Fencers seeking to firmly establish high-performance characteristics as a feature of their game can rely upon the presence of their coach at both domestic and international competitions.

At The Leon Paul Project we understand that the competition calendar gives structure and purpose to each and every fencer’s development and progress. That is why we prioritise the importance of the coach-athlete relationship as much in the competition venue as in the training salle.

Having a coach in the competition room affords the fencer an extra pair of eyes on the movement up and down the piste. With this added set of perspectives, the coach and the fencer can bring back valuable insights and ideas into training to define the purpose, reinforce the process, identify the positives and so perfect the performance.
